Don PakDon W. Pak is Of Counsel to Wapner Newman and focuses his practice exclusively in immigration and citizenship matters, including deportation/removal court hearings.

Mr. Pak has extensive experience representing individuals, multinational corporations, domestic companies, nonprofit institutions, and investors seeking to employ foreign nationals in the United States for immigrant (permanent) or non-immigrant (temporary) visas. Mr. Pak has obtained PERM labor certification approvals and employment-based U.S. Lawful Permanent Residence (“the green card”) for foreign nationals ranging from small business employees to managers of well-known multi-national corporations. He represents clients from all over the world and frequently travels to various states for USCIS interviews and immigration deportation/removal court hearings.

He has represented clients on diverse immigration matters before the Department of Labor, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration Board of Appeals, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review, and federal, district, and circuit courts. Mr. Pak also counsels clients on employment verification compliance and provides defense in the event of government agency audits and investigations. He also has extensive experience in immigration matters related to family/individuals, investors, and litigation.

Investors who wish to gain their Lawful Permanent Residency (“Green Cards”) can apply under the EB-5 category. Immigrant Investor Program, also known as “EB-5,” created by Congress in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors can be achieved by either investing $1 Million Dollars in a new commercial enterprise or $500,000.00 in a Targeted Employment Area (High Unemployment or Rural Area). The other option is to invest $500K in a Regional Center. Mr. Pak can assist you in the EB-5 Green Card Process. He has successfully obtained green cards for immigrant investors.

When it comes to deportation, Mr. Pak has successfully helped countless individuals facing deportation by effectively representing them in immigration courts throughout the United States. He has filed Petitions for Review and appeared before the Second, Third, Fourth and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Pak is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has been a past NMD (New Members Division) AILA mentor at the Philadelphia, PA chapter.

Mr. Pak has been a guest speaker at several immigration panels for CLE programs. Having had experiences as a law clerk and as an intern for several Judges, Mr. Pak is knowledgeable in successfully preparing for a case in front of Judges and knows what Judges expect at court hearings. This experience has helped Mr. Pak win numerous cases for his clients.

Additionally, Mr. Pak has personally attended several hundred USCIS interviews and is sufficiently experienced with being prepared for any type of USCIS interview.

Mr. Pak is also a Board Member of the Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition (PICC), a non-profit organization that advocates immigrant rights, assists in voter registration and in the citizenship and naturalization process.
