Lower North Philadelphia is home to Temple University, Girard College, the John Coltrane House and the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art. I-95 borders Lower North Philadelphia on the east, while streets like Cecil B. Moore Avenue, Girard Avenue and Spring Garden Street run east to west through the neighborhood. Moderate-injury to fatal vehicle accidents in Lower North Philadelphia (including motorcycles, small and heavy trucks, SUVs, buses and other vehicles), I-95, West Lehigh Avenue and even North Broad Street were particularly dangerous for drivers.
