Mr. Getson joined Wapner Newman, P.C. as an Associate in April 2004 and has always focused his practice in plaintiffs’ Civil Trial Litigation. Since 2003, Mr. Getson has successfully represented injured victims in a variety of accidents, including automobile crashes, transportation and trucking crashes, dog attacks, product malfunctions, slips/trips and falls, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, elevator accidents, negligent security and dram shop claims, construction site accidents, nursing home abuse and neglect, construction site accidents, and other personal injury matters. In January 2014, Mr. Getson became a Partner at Wapner Newman.
In addition to advocating for his clients at Wapner Newman, Mr. Getson is a certified Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Getson also can be found lecturing at Continuing Legal Education Seminars and other educational forums.
When not involved in the practice of law, Mr. Getson is focused on his other passion in life, his family.

$31,500 LAW CHANGING JURY VERDICT FOR ATTORNEY GETSON
In January 2008, Adam Getson, an associate at Wapner Newman, was able to obtain a jury verdict on behalf of a client who was injured by a negligent driver in November 2004. The trial lasted two days, and Attorney Getson was able to persuade a twelve-person, Philadelphia County jury that the plaintiff sustained injuries to her neck and back while in an uninsured vehicle operated by an uninsured negligent driver. This matter was presided over by The Honorable Judge Matthew D. Carrafiello. Attorney Getson’s client was awarded $31,500 for her injuries. The real success in this Trial was changing the way that Pennsylvania law looked at eligibility for benefits. The talk, scheduled for April 30, 2008, will feature Attorney Getson’s thoughts about the process of becoming a lawyer, including passing the Pennsylvania Bar, and the ethical responsibilities of being a lawyer.
